Once again it took a few attempts to get Simon's Christmas photo. Here are some of the ones that didn't make it.

It took more attempts this year because Simon kept climbing off the bed and leaving.

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas everybody.

Thanks for checking out Simon's adventures this year. As you can see Simon has been busy growing this year, learning about his world and learning about Jesus.

Houdini

Simon can get out of his high chair while the straps are done up.

Duplo

Simon is getting very good at playing with his duplo now. He can put pieces together. He built this with only a little bit of help.

But all good things must come to an end

Simon and Nelson

Suds took Simon and Nelson to the park last week.

Simon fed Nelson some leaves. Nelson didn't like them.

Even babies need to keep up with the news in the current economic climate

Mobiles

Simon has his own mobile phone (it used to belong to Daddy, but Simon broke it). He likes opening it and talking on it.

He likes Mummy's phone better because it had lights and noises, but Mummy prefers her phone to actually work.

New Toys

Simon has discovered that household objects are good to play with. His favourites include cans of tomatoes. He likes to place the cans in the drawers and he's worked out that the only way to fit them all in is to take the drawer out of the desk.

and the saucepans.

Spoon

Simon is getting the hang of feeding himself with a spoon. Usually the food makes it into his mouth. We think it's pretty exciting and are trying to encourage him, so if we're eating and randomly start clapping and telling Simon that he's done well, you'll know what it's about.
